For years, Gwen’s younger sister, Genell, is her only trusted confidant. Although they each have very different personalities, both girls are gifted with the ability to “see” events and beings not of this world. As the sisters grow ever closer, Gwen feels more comfortable revealing her supernatural encounters with the one person she knows truly understands her. But tragedy strikes, and Genell is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Afterward, through a series of ethereal encounters with the spirit of her sister, Gwen comes to realize that death is only a temporary separation from this life into the next.

had a golden hue around her entire body. The image was as a soft golden pastel picture in three dimensions. Genell’s curves were very soft, not sharp like definitive lines. Since Genell was almost thirteen when she died, I recognized her beautiful shape. Her facial features were soft and not too distinctive, like a picture that was just a little out of focus. When I pulled open the door, she had already disappeared.

I ran onto the patio facing J.C. on the lawn. J.C. looked up and said, “Mom, you've seen Aunt Genell, haven’t you?”  I said, “Yes, did you see her?”   J.C. replied, “No... but you look like you've just seen a ghost...”
